I’m Off!

I am off to ICFP 2008 where I will be chatting with fellow functional enthusiasts.  The ACM SIGPLAN is hosting this event in Victoria, B.C.   Do you see how committed I am to advancing functional programming?  I mean, I am willing to leave the heat waves and hurricanes in Texas to spend a whole week in Victoria, B.C. in September.   It will be hard, but I must endure for the cause.

The most exciting programs being written today involve functional techniques, particularly those which demand performance and flexibility.
